We are available year round if you would like to make reservations!
Office and Facilities
The office building is your place to check in upon arrival, check out outdoor game equipment, & limited grocery / drink refreshments. We are often not in the office, but are always just a phone call away to assist you!

- Snack Foods & Those Things Easily Forgotten
- Cold Bottled Water, Pop & Fruit Juices
- Ice, Ice, Ice!!!
- Water hoses & Septic hose supplies
- Local Visitor Guide, coupons, flyers, and discounts on area attractions
- Toiletries.
Our Rates
Daily: $55 (two adults / one camping unit). $5 per night for each additional adult age 18 or older. No additional charge for children under the age of 18. Maximum of 6 people per site.
(Camping Unit = One travel trailer, 5th wheel, motor home, popup or tent.)
We allow only one camping unit per site.

Check in: Any time after 12:00 PM (noon)
Check out: No later than 11:00 AM unless arrangements are made with the office.
30 & 50 amp. service included.
Wireless internet & TV channels are free.
No additional charges for pets.
All outdoor and indoor games are free.
No refunds for early departures.

Outdoor Activities
What is camping all about?? Outdoor activities, of course! That's why we do our best to offer your family as wide a range of activities as possible, where you can take in the sunshine and cool breeze of a lazy summer day!
Here are some activities all with no additional charge:
- Picnic area by Glawe Lake
- Grassy Pet walking path approx 1/2 mile long that circles the camping grounds
- Two fenced-in children's playgrounds complete with sand, swing sets, "Little Tikes" toys, play houses, and SO much more
- Basketball hoop with cement shooting/playing area
- Volleyball court w/sand
- Small 9-hole chipper golf course
- Two horseshoe pits
- Croquet Set - Frisbies - Bocce Ball set
Rec Hall Indoor Activities
We know that not every day is filled with sunshine, so Country Campground offers our campers an indoor Recreational Hall complete with a wide variety of completely FREE activities that won't nickel & dime parents into the poor house. These include:
- Foosball
- Pool Table
- Air Hockey
- Ping-Pong Table
- 8ft Shuffleboard Table
- 12ft Carpet Ball Table
- Multiple long tables for playing games, doing crafts, scrap booking or just hanging out and chatting.
- Lending Library with books to read, with a take-a-book, leave-a-book book exchange policy.
- A spacious, open-air, screened in picnic shelter on the end of Rec Hall.
- Kitchenette complete with refrigerator, sink, microwave, and counters for group activities
- Restrooms w/showers (all soft water), in addition to the restrooms and showers in the office building.
Campers can have group events / luncheons together in the Recreational Hall. Please speak with the office if you have inquiries regarding reserving the Rec Hall for a special occasion.

Detroit Lakes is a very family-friendly city and offers many local attractions. There are plenty of opportunities for those who wish to take advantage of a little relaxation on their vacation and visit to Country Campground, but for those who are looking forward to a little action and adventure, you won't have to go far!
Country Campground is located just 5 minutes from beautiful Detroit Lakes, in the heart of Minnesota's 10,000 lakes. We are just minutes away from golfing, swimming at the city beach, fishing, shopping, and the country's largest outdoor music festival (WE Fest), among many other festivals, fairs, flea markets and occasions throughout the summer.
We just can't leave out the opportunity to search out the local trolls can we? There are five in the area and the golden rabbit. It's a great opportunity to get out and do a little hiking in the fresh air! See more here!
